New Site Launched!
On November 19 we launched our new Light Duty Pathway platform with a lot of new features and a few growing pains.
December 3 Update
At the end of the day on Friday (11/29/2024) the update to prevent users from progressing without writing progress to the server was implemented. Monday morning Dec 2 we received reports of users not being able to progress due to connection issues and after some more work was done, we had some more issues with progress not being recorded properly. We think that as of 1pm PST those issues have been resolved. We are still monitoring the situation with user progress and reports to ensure that the issue has been successfuly resolved.
November 26 Update
We have continued to hear reports of users whose progress was not being recorded. The team is working on a fix that will require the software running on the end user's device to wait until activity has been successfully logged on the server before it will allow the user to advance to the next section. This should keep the server and the user's device in sync. We are actively working on this problem.
Announcement about time reports for the November 19 - November 22.
As with any new system implementation, we’ve encountered some initial challenges, including a bug that affected employees completing training modules. This issue occasionally caused progress not to save properly, requiring some users to repeat activities. This may have led to under-reported times in activity logs or employees skipping through content to catch up.
Please note:
Activity Reports Are an Audit Tool
These reports provide a helpful snapshot of engagement and completion, but they are not intended to serve as a precise timecard. This is especially important to keep in mind for this week as we roll out the new system and address these early challenges.
Our development team has identified the root cause of the issue and is implementing a fix that optimizes how progress is saved and tracked. This improvement will help ensure a smoother experience moving forward and prevent this problem from recurring.
We are excited to bring you an improved platform to better serve your needs, and we deeply appreciate your patience as we fine-tune the system.
Video Overview
Improved User Management
Fast
The new UI has been written from the ground up with performance in mind. No more waiting for the employee list to populate.
Searchable
Locate employee and manager accounts quickly by typing their name in a search box.
Teams
Create teams and control which users are in which teams for easier organization and management.
Managers
Create manager accounts and assign them to manage specific teams and user accounts.
Improved Employee Training
20 days of Spanish
The Spanish course now consists of the original 5 days of fully Spanish content followed by 15 days of the English videos with (auto-generated) Spanish subtitles and Spanish quiz questions. (note: Spanish does not have the interactive eLearning Activity segments and more videos are repeated)
Shorter Video Segments
The videos have been broken into shorter segments followed by their related quiz. This means employees need to interact more frequently so we have more clicks to record for reporting.
Automatic Time-Out
Automatic time-out functions to ensure better engagement with the course and better reporting.
Improved Daily Report
The new report contains shows each activity the employee starts or completes along with the expected time and the actual time taken.
